Renata is a PhD student presenting her research in the field of molecular and developmental biology, with a focus on the gene zelda and its role in the physiology and development of the mosquito Aedes aegypti. She conducts her work at the Integrated Laboratory of Morphofunctional Sciences (LICM), part of NUPEM/UFRJ in Macaé, under the supervision of Dr. Rodrigo Nunes da Fonseca and a team of co-advisors.
