Bruno Rodrigues, PhD student, presented this week’s seminar on the topic of osmoregulation in insects. His presentation explored the physiological and molecular mechanisms that allow insects to regulate water and ion balance, with particular attention to the role of Malpighian tubules and ion transport systems.
