Maria Muylaert, undergraduate research student in the field of Genetics at UFRJ/Nupem-Macaé, presented her project entitled “Development of the Fish Egg Catalog of Northern Rio de Janeiro State”. The study aims to create a catalog of fish eggs through molecular genetics (DNA barcoding) to improve taxonomic identification.
