Approval in the CNPq Universal Program – Prof. Rodrigo Nunes da Fonseca. The project “Epigenetic Responses to Global Warming in Animals from Brazilian Biomes” was approved in the CNPq/MCTI Universal 2024/2025 call for proposals (Category B) — one of the most competitive in the country. The research investigates how Brazilian organisms respond molecularly to global warming, integrating Evo-Devo, epigenetics, ATAC-seq, transcriptomics, and phenotypic plasticity. A joint effort between UFRJ, USP, UFBA, the National Museum, and the Neotropical Genomes Network, consolidating NUPEM/UFRJ as a national reference.
