Approval in the Entrepreneurial Doctorate/FAPERJ – Allan Pozzobon
Postdoctoral researcher Allan was approved in the FAPERJ Entrepreneurial Doctorate program, with the project EcoDNS – Sustainable Environmental DNA. The initiative will create a startup focused on the use of environmental DNA combined with NGS for efficient, non-invasive, and highly precise biodiversity monitoring — an innovation with direct applications in conservation, environmental licensing, and microbiological surveillance. At the end of the project, EcoDNS will be formally established in Rio de Janeiro, strengthening the biotechnology ecosystem in the interior of the state.
