Summary

PhD student in Environmental Sciences and Conservation at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro/UFRJ, whose research title is “Study of genes involved in the embryonic development and molting process of Tribolium castaneum. Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Conservation, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro /UFRJ (2017). Degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013). Currently carrying out research in the area of ​​evolutionary developmental biology, genetics and molecular biology studying the expression and function of genes participating in the juvenile hormone pathway and of metamorphosis in the beetle Tribolium castaneum. During her master’s degree, she carried out research in the area of ​​toxicology, using larvicides on dipterans from the Culicidae family and on zebrafish (Danio rerio), at the Integrated Laboratory of Morphofunctional Sciences of the Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainability – NUPEM/UFRJ. As an undergraduate, he did his scientific initiation in the embryology laboratory, researching the best period for shrimp closure in the municipality of Macaé; and also in the arthropod laboratory, with projects focused on arachnid taxonomy and ecology. Employee of the Municipality of Macaé, working in the area of ​​Health Education for the Special Coordination of Environmental and Health Surveillance – CEVAS of the Department of Health.
