Summary

I am a graduate in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, having completed my undergraduate studies in 2017. Throughout my academic journey, I pursued a Master’s degree (2019) and a Ph.D. (2023) in the Biociences and Biotechnology program at the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro, specializing in immunoparasitology, studying the interactions between parasites and hosts.
Over the course of my career, I have acquired skills in various laboratory techniques, including, cell culture, manipulation and experimentation with animals, flow cytometry, spectrophotometry, as well as optical and transmission electron microscopy.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Institute of Sustainability and Development (NUPEM), where I collaborate on the VALE project. Our research focuses on the conservation of endangered species, with my primary contribution being the study of metagenomics of the bacterial community in aquatic plants.
