Luana Dias is a Scientific Initiation student at NUPEM/UFRJ, with a great interest in molecular biology and functional genomics. I have been enthusiastically dedicated to scientific research and currently, my project involves the genomic analysis of the amphipod Parhyale hawaiensis, considered a model organism for studies of developmental biology, regeneration and evolution, using the third-generation sequencing technology Oxford Nanopore.
