Summary

I am Tiago InĂ¡cio, an undergraduate student in Biological Sciences at NUPEM/UFRJ. My research focuses on the regenerative capacity of the marine amphipod Parhyale hawaiensis across different stages of its life cycle.

I am particularly interested in understanding how regeneration varies throughout development and the biological, cellular, and evolutionary implications of these differences. By studying regeneration in this model organism, my work aims to contribute to broader discussions on developmental plasticity, tissue repair, and the evolutionary conservation of regenerative mechanisms.
