The members of the Functional Genomics Unit at NUPEM/UFRJ, led by Professor Rodrigo Nunes da Fonseca, were received by the Vice President of Production and Innovation (VPPIS) at FIOCRUZ, Thiago Guimarães Soares, and by the researcher Thiago Parente at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation – Fiocruz. During the meeting, the researchers had the opportunity to visit the DNA sequencers at the Diagnostic Support Unit (UNADIG-RJ) and the Oswaldo Cruz Institute.
