At the resumption of our seminar, Dr. Lupis Ribeiro shared his experience at the 70th Meeting of the Brazilian Society of Genetics, held in Belém, Pará, from August 13–16, 2025. The event brought together national and international researchers and was strongly focused on genomics, with applications in areas such as conservation, bioinformatics, medicine, plant biology, forensic genetics, Evo-Devo, and education. In addition to highlighting the main topics, Dr. Ribeiro also reflected on the history, cuisine, and culture of the host city.
