The seminar covered the minicourse on Arthropod Developmental Biology, held at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ) on July 9, 2025. It was taught by PhD candidate Fernanda Salce, Master’s graduate Ian Gomes, and undergraduate researcher Manuela de Oliveira. Before detailing the minicourse, the presentation highlighted key aspects of the student’s research, including topics like the egg anatomy of Tribolium castaneum, its morphogenesis, and important features of the regeneration process during its larval stage. Following this brief intro, the minicourse was presented, with emphasis on the hands-on session where participants handled different developmental stages of the Tribolium castaneum beetle. The student also shared her personal experience as an event participant.
