Tiago Inacio, undergraduate Biology student, presented his research project on the temporal and morphological characterization of Parhyale hawaiensis eggs. The study focuses on describing changes in egg size, coloration, morphology, and embryonic development over time. Current progress includes learning and optimizing embryo fixation on microscope slides for DAPI staining and nuclear visualization. The project will also contribute to the development of a pedagogical approach using Parhyale hawaiensis as a model organism for biology education.
